Evansville man takes plea deal in 2nd child pornography case

A 38-year-old Evansville man who is already serving a 10 year prison sentence after having his probation revoked on a 2019 child pornography conviction takes a plea deal in Rock County Court on new child porn charges. According to online court records, Chase Leal plead guilty this week two two counts of possession of child pornography.Gay porno Judge Karl Hanson dismissed but read into the record two additional counts. Judge Hanson sentenced Leal to nine years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision to be served concurrent with the decade he’s already serving. Leal was on probation for his previous child porn case when he was caught by police with a phone that had child porn on it. Court papers say Leal claimed he only had images of naked children being sexually assaulted because they were “pop-ups” that were attached to pornography featuring adults.
